These are the rantings of an American graduate student who has been living in Toronto, Ontario, CANADA for almost a year now, and has grown fed-up with the appallingly dysfunctional society there that brands itself as being so much like America but more “liberal”.
If you’re a fellow yankee, Born in the USA, maybe you have never even contemplated that you are entering a foreign country upon arrival in the Land of Maple Syrup and Honey. This blog serves as warning to all the frusterations you will encounter, should you ever consider repatriating yourself in this foreign country.
I do not intend to villify the many good-natured, generous and benevolent Canadians I have met here, and by which Canada is known to most of the world. Make no mistake, my sole problem lies with the innane bureacracies, government, shady business practices, and way-of-life that one has living here!
